Sophie Rose Hinerfeld is a Brooklyn based creator. In her writing and directing she is focused on sharing stories which empower young women to champion their own fate. In management roles she is focused on creating an environment of open and clear communication. 

Currently she is producing for the fledgling production company Straight Shot Studios and acting as the Deliverables Producer for the indie feature film Concessions. Recent credits include Post Production Supervising Concessions which premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, directing a play-reading of Tennessee Williams' play Spring Storm, and winning the award for best original score on her debut short film "This Vast Sea" at First Run Film Festival. She is an NYU Tisch Alumnus. She has in development the podcast Steeping Cinema and her debut feature film Surface Tension
